DevOps is a set of practises with a software development and operations approach that enables faster development of new products and easier maintenance of existing deployments. It focuses on automating and monitoring all steps of software construction, from integration, testing, releasing to deployment and infrastructure management. Any organisation following a DevOps approach, will result in continuously building, testing, delivering, and deploying products in a process driven manner and at minimal cost. The objective is to build shorter development cycles, increased deployment frequency, more dependable releases, in close alignment with business objectives.
